Interlibrary Loan is a free service, giving access to library materials (both academic and public) that our library consortium doesn’t own. Materials ordered on interlibrary loan through this library must also be picked up and returned at L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library. Checkout periods are usually similar to those of our library. A realistic response time is two to three weeks, but it can be anywhere from one to six weeks, depending on the availability of the item. Due to time and staffing constraints, the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library limits the number of interlibrary loan requests that a customer may receive to one hundred (100) per year. The limit refers to the number of items that come in and are "ready for pickup." There are times when a request is submitted and the library is unable to obtain that item for various reasons. These requests do not count towards the limit of 100. Remember, this limit is for interlibrary loan items only, not items received from one of the MORE libraries. You can request your own Interlibrary loan items through WISCAT. Discover and request items in the collections of over 1,200 Wisconsin libraries. You may have the items sent to this library provided that you follow these guidelines:
