Net Library

NetLibrary, provided through the Indianhead Federated Library System, is the digital version of printed books, journals, and database content.  In the netLibrary collection are over 12,000 titles, including nonfiction books on a wide range of topics and thousands of books in the public domain, including many classical fiction works.

Before you can access any of the titles in netLibrary, you must first set up an account on one of the computers at the L. E. Phillips Memorial Public Library.

To Create A netLibrary Account:

  • Go to any computer in the Reference Area of the library.
  • Log on using your first name, last name and library card number.
  • Click on Internet Explorer
  • From the public workstation menu, click on the library's website at http://www.ecpubliclibrary.info.
  • Click on Services and then All Services.
  • Click on netLibrary.
  • This link will take you to the netLibrary home page at http://www.netlibrary.com/.
  • Click on Create a Free Account at the top of the page.
  • Fill in the required information much the same as you would when setting up an e-mail account.

Now that your netLibrary account is set up you may search for books by title, author, subject, keyword or publisher.    NetLibrary items are not checked out but only viewed full-text through the netLibrary web site from either your home computer or from one of the library's Internet workstations.  Only titles with a copyright date of 2006 or earlier are included in the netLibrary collection provided by IFLS.
